A
final, very sad goodbye to America

Aysha Bhola is
a 22-year-old Cal State Long Beach student ready to return
home.
"Being away form my parents was really hard," Bhola
said. "I knew that it was only temporary, but I still
miss home."
Bhola, who is British, but raised in Kuwait, is the first
female in her family to graduate from college.
Over the last two years here, she has found many new experiences.
The transition from Kuwait to Long Beach has brought Bhola
many new experiences.
"There are so many different people and cultures, especially
in Long Beach," she said. "Everyone is so friendly
here."
One of Bhola's favorite things about America, and the Los
Angeles area, is the amount of entertaining activities.
"There are so many things to see and places to go, in
Kuwait there is nothing to do," Bhola said.
Her favorite places to go are South Coast Plaza and Third
Street Promenade. Her least favorite thing about America is
the tax. It was embarrassing the first time she tried to purchase
something by only having the exact amount of change.
Prior to attending CSULB, Bhola attended Arizona State University.
Once she heard of the exceptional management information systems
program at CSULB she transferred and has been in Long Beach
ever since.
Bhola's parents will arrive in Long Beach next Thursday, and
she eagerly awaits their arrival.
