  • CFA plan asks for more faculty
    The California Faculty Association has been trying to implement a plan called upon the Cal State University Trustees to give a legislative testimony in favor of a new plan to increase the number of permanent teaching faculty within the 23 CSUs.

    A bill that is being considered by Governor Davis and has been approved by the California State Assembly will recommend foster parents to undergo sensitivity training to better serve gay, lesbian and transgender youths.

    The emerging Cal State Long Beach Latino theater group, Nuevo Teatro Popular debuted the long awaited play, “Boyle Heights,” to a packed house at the Beach Auditorium Friday night.
