Nestled
in a secluded canyon of the Santa Ana mountains,
Glen Ivy Hot Springs offers a sanctuary
for those looking to escape the drudgery
of everyday life.
“It’s an ideal place to relax and leave
the everyday demands behind and rejuvenate
by soaking in the precious mineral water,”
said Cindy Capen, director of marketing
and public relations for the Hot Springs.
Located on five acres just outside Corona,
Glen Ivy Hot Springs is a one-hour drive
from Los Angeles and Orange County and is
known for its centuries-old natural hot
mineral springs.
The resort has 17 different pools and spas,
including a lounge pool, a lap-size swimming
pool, sauna, steam baths, whirlpools, bubbly
champagne pools, indoor Roman baths and
a covered saltwater spa.
The spa also features Southern California’s
only natural red clay mud bath, which is
located in a sunny area of the resort called
“club mud.”
The hot springs resort also features 50
treatment rooms for massage, facials, manicures,
pedicures and other therapeutic services.
Also new at the resort is an underground
body moisturizing spa treatment called “The
Grotto” in which guests take an elevator
down into a private granite enclave.
Once inside, an attendant coats the guests
with a mud-like body moisturizer made of
sea kelp and aloe vera and the treatment
nourishes the skin.
“We wanted to add a one-of-a-kind spa treatment
that guests can experience alone or with
friends, and is affordable,” Capen said.
