Wednesday

• Disturbance —12:58 a.m.— A dorm resident in the Parkside Commons reported a large group of people drinking alcohol and being loud outside the building. An officer met with a group that was outside smoking cigarettes. No evidence of alcohol was found.

Tuesday

• Burglary — 9:17 p.m. — Officers arrested two subjects after discovering they had just burglarized a vehicle parked on Bellflower Boulevard. Chamroeun Sunhorn, 25, was taken to Long Beach City Jail. The second subject was a juvenile and was taken to Juvenile Hall.

• Found Property — 5:50 a.m. — A black purse was found by a University Facilities Management mover in a classroom in the Health and Human Services Building. The owner was contacted and the purse was returned.

Sunday

• Burglary — 11:24 p.m. — A report was made concerning an auto burglary that occurred in Lot 20 between noon on Oct. 17 and 11 p.m. on Sunday. The loss included a Sony CD system valued at $300 and speakers valued at $240. No forced entry could be found on the vehicle.

• Incomplete 911 call — 4:37 a.m. — A 911 call was received from the Los Cerritos Hall lobby concerning an argument between a male and female on the north side of the building. Officers determined a boyfriend and girlfriend were engaged in a verbal dispute.
