Queen’s anniversary allows free admission

The Queen Mary in Long Beach will hold its Second Annual Long Beach Residents Free Weekend, in honor of the Queen Mary’s 35th anniversary starting on Friday and ending Sunday.
 
Residents and city employees of Long Beach and outlying areas including Lakewood, Seal Beach, Signal Hill and Los Alamitos will be admitted free of charge with current proof of residence or city employment.
 
The ship hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All three on-board restaurants, the Promenade Café, Chelsea and Sir Winston’s, will be open for dinner until 10 p.m. The Art Deco Observation bar will also be open nightly.
