The Beach will once again welcome the sizzling, and acoustic ensemble Incendio that has entranced the world with its flamenco, Spanish sounds.

Incendio will be performing this Thursday, at the southwest terrace at noon.

The band’s new CD “Illumination” came out last November has been dominating the billboard music charts for the past year with a No. 3 hit on the New Age Charts and a No. 13 hit on the New Age Voice charts.
“Their music attracts from young to old. I met them at NACA, (National Association of College Activity), a place where bands gather together to display their talent. Incendio’s music is off the hook,” said Tyrone Robinson, program assistant for the program council.

The four-piece Los Angeles band has created a collection of expressions, tributes, and stories with South American, Middle Eastern and African influences.

For the past three years, Incendio has perfected its style and sound. The band’s first CD, “Misterioso”, came out in 2000.

All across California and Arizona they have been overcrowding coffeehouses, bookstores, and bars according to the band’s website, Incendiomusic. com. Their website has made it easy for fans to download information for times and dates of future performances.

“They are an instrumental version of the Gypsy Kings, and they have that Flamenco vibe to them,” said Assistant Publicist Matt Wood.

Incendio’s members include JP Durand and Jim Stubblefield, drummer Joe Shotwell, and bass player Liza Carb.
