 • Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band Concert will be performed at 8 p.m. in the Gerald Daniel Recital Hall.

Friday:

 • String Chamber Orchestra Concert will be performed at 8 p.m. in the Gerald Daniel Recital Hall.

Saturday:

• Festival Ballet Theater presents “The Nutcracker” at the Carpenter Center of Performing Arts. Performances will be at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. with another matinee on Sunday at 2 p.m. (562) 985-7000

Friday:

 • “Celebrating Seasonal Traditions from Around the World” will take place at the Long Beach Museum of Art from 4 to 8 p.m. located at 2300 East Ocean Blvd. (562) 431-3541

 • Seal Beach Christmas Holiday Parade will start at 7 p.m. on Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway

 • Christmas Candlelight Tours will be given from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday as well at Rancho Loss Cerritos located at 4600 Virginia Rd in Long Beach. (562) 570-1755

 • “A Dysfunctional Trailer Park Musical” will be performed at 8 p.m. in The Found Theatre located at 251 East Seventh St. (562) 433-3363

Saturday:

 • The Belmont Shore Christmas Parade will take place on Second Street from 6 to 9 p.m. The event is free.

 • The International City Theater will perform “The Season of Giving” at 11 a.m. in The Center Theater located at 300 East Ocean. (562) 436-4610
