Barbara comes
home for team

Welcome home, Don
Barbara. The Long Beach State Hall of Famer and former Dirtbag
hitting machine is back, this time as a LBSU assistant coach.
Barbara played
for the Dirtbags in 1989 and 1990. In 1989, he earned All-West
Regional honors while playing on the school's first College
World Series team. In 1990, he hit an amazing .474, earning
him Big West Player of The Year honors.
Barbara went on
to play professional baseball for seven years, including stints
with the Angels and Dodgers organizations.
