The following information
is from the University Police crime report from June 28 to July
3.
DISTURBANCE
University Police escorted an employee from the Human Services
and Design Building on Monday after coworkers in her work
area became concerned. The worker was found speaking incoherently,
but not posing a threat. She was taken to a facility in Los
Angeles for a psychiatric consultation.
VANDALISM
A report was filed for a classroom sink in the Psychology
Building that was vandalized on Friday. Faculty first called
Facilities Management for a leaking ceiling and later the
police were called when it was determined that the sink had
been intentionally clogged with paper towels and the water
turned on. Police have no suspects or leads.
VANDALISM
A cream colored powder was smeared over oil paintings in a
classroom in the Liberal Arts Building on Friday. The professor
who found the paintings was arriving to grade the paintings
and found the paintings had been tampered with. The suspects
left behind a marking on the classroom floor in the white
powder that said vandals. No suspects were detained and the
damage was valued under $400.
GRAND THEFT
AUTO
A 1994 white Ford F-150 was reportedly stolen on Wednesday
in parking Lot 11. The vehicle, valued at $14,500 was not
recovered, and no suspects were detained.
