    The seniors defended home field one final time Sunday as Long Beach State overcame two big deficits to sweep the three-game Big West Conference series against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

    Sophomore Ashley Richardson, second on LBSU with 50 goals, was named All-league honorable mention.

  • Ex-LBSU football player passes away
    Former 49er football player Bill Price, a member of LBSU's 1955 inaugural team, passed away on April 28 in Yorba Linda, Calif. He was 70.
