Long Beach State's
junior shortstop Bobby Crosby, a preseason first team All-American,

providing clutch hitting and batting .500 in four games last

In Sunday's 13-12

two-run double in the bottom of the ninth that propelled LBSU
to a come-back victory.
Overall on the
week, Crosby hit 7-for-14, walked five times, scored three
runs and had four RBIs. The shortstop led the Dirtbags to
a three-game sweep over Cal Poly last weekend and an 8-2 victory
over the Universtiy of San Diego on May 8.
This is the first
Big West Player of the Week award for Crosby in his three
years at the varsity level at LBSU.
