Baited with graphics

On-line Forty-Niner
Check out Live
Bait on Sunday the May 27 for a party sponsored by graphic
design students.
Students can dance
to 6 bands, eat barbecue and win prizes like CD's, T-shirts.
A $6 cover charge
will go to the graphic design gallery showing scheduled for
next semester.
Rocket Air, Super
Bright Lite, Crazy wisdom and Snap Shot will enliven Live
Bait with pop, punk, and rock music. Students 18 and older
are invited to attend. The party starts at 7 p.m.
A year-end show
is scheduled to showcase the student's talents in computer
graphics.
Cal State Long
Beach has a six-year degree specializing in computer graphics.
Students learn
everything from commercial packaging to advertising and marketing
and master PhotoShop, Quark Illustrator, Flash and other design
programs.
These works have
produced CD packaging, company reports, product labels and
packaging, logos, and all types of retail promotional materials.
