    For seven seniors on the Long Beach State men's water polo team, Saturday's contest against UC Santa Barbara was their final home game.

    Long Beach State didn't have a great finish at the NCAA West Regional Cross Country meet Saturday in Tucson, Ariz. -- the men's team finished 15th, the women 17th -- but The Beach took something more valuable out of the season-ending contest, according to LBSU Head Coach Andy Sythe

    The 49er win was no surprise, but it came with a cost.

  • Mays seventh at 49er Classic
    Tyler Mays finished in a tie for seventh place and Long Beach State finished in eighth place overall as a team at the 49er Intercollegiate Classic completed Friday at The Zaharias Course in Industry Hills.
