Long Beach State men's
basketball brings its 3-2record into College Station, Tex. to
take on undefeated Texas A&M in a nonconference contest
Friday at 6:00 p.m. PDT.
Senior center Rudy Williams leads the 49ers at 14.4 points per
game and also averages 5.6 rebounds a game. Senior guard Ron
Johnson is the Beach's second-leading scorer at 13.6 ppg. Keith
Bean leads Texas A&M (3-0) at 21.0 ppg.
The LBSU women's squad in also in action this weekend, playing
an exhibition game against The Firm Saturday at The Pyramid.
Game time is 2 p.m.
