Coming Tuesday
The Long Beach State
men's water polo team jumped out to a 6-0 lead and beat host
UC Santa Barbara, 10-5, Sunday. Aaron Holloway and Chris Segesman
scored three goals each for the 49ers in the nonconference match.
Goalie Brett Adolph made six saves for LBSU, which improved
its record to 7-6.
The Beach women's soccer team wasn't as lucky, losing to UCSB,
3-1, at George Allen Field Sunday. The Gauchos grabbed a quick
3-0 lead and the 49ers were unable to recover.
Freshman Kelly Kaufman was the lone 49er scorer, putting home
a goal in the first half.
