Both the Long Beach State men's and women's golf squads will
participate in tournaments starting today.
The men's team will compete in its first tournament in almost
a month when it takes part in the Strata-Pepperdine Invitational
at the Saticoy Country Club in Somis.
The 49ers last competed in the Northwest Collegiate Classic
Sept. 10-11, finishing fourth.
The women's team, which finished second at the SoCal Intercollegiate
Sept. 17-18, travels to Corvallis, Ore. to take part in the
Oregon State Invitational.
