postponed
Due to Tuesday's tragic
events on the East Coast the following Long Beach State athletic
events have been postponed to later dates not yet determined:
Women's soccer:
Wednesday's game
against San Jose State at George Allen Field
*Sunday's game
against the University of San Diego at George Allen Field
Women's volleyball:
Thursday's
match against Idaho at The Pyramid
Friday's match
against Utah State at The Pyramid
*Saturday's match
against Penn State at The Pyramid
Men's water polo:
*Friday's contest
against Massachusetts at Campus Pool
The SoCal Tournament,
scheduled for this weekend at USC, has been postponed.
Cross country:
The status
of the SDSU Aztec Invitational, which was slated for this
weekend,has not yet been determined.
*The status of
this contest has not been determined at press time.
The Daily 49er will
publish the new dates for the postponed contests as soon as
they are made available. Additionally, the men's and women's
golf teams, which were in Oregon andColorado respectively,
are currently returning to Long Beach via ground travel due
to airport closures.
