Even more moving
on?
Now that America has
"moved on," and is looking toward war, I ask one simple
question: What are we going to do now? We can sit under President
Bush and think that going to war is the solution, but we all
know that this is not the solution.
Why all the discrimination
of the Islamic and Muslim people? Anyone participating in
such acts knows they are wrong. You can't go around blaming
people for something that you really have no knowledge about,
except for what the president and the media pumps into our
heads.
I just heard that
more terrorist attacks are planned for Los Angeles. I guess
after that happens we will just "move on" and then
everything will be fine. Right? No, wrong, wrong,
it's all just wrong.
Again I ask for
the American people to wake up. A few little barbeques and
other little gatherings are not going to do it. Also, I don't
appreciate how people have tried to capitalize on this tragedy
by making up T-shirts and selling American flags out of their
cars. This is ridiculous.
Well, I hope that
Bush is right about going to war because he is about to send
hundreds of innocent people out to fight for this country.
What about the families of these military individuals? What
will we do if these people go to war and are killed?
Oh yeah, we'll just "move on!"
My only brother
is in the Navy, and is scheduled to complete basic training
in about a month, and I don't want him to be sent out to some
foreign country where he doesn't know what will happen. I
know that if something happens to my brother, I won't be "moving
on."
I know this may
offend people, but I have declared that I am no longer an
American. I say this because everything that America
stood for was taken away on the dreaded day of Sept. 11. This
is supposed to be a strong, safe nation. Well, that's
a joke! I will no longer be flying on airplanes because
obviously airlines aren't very secure. This is what usually
happens when you put the security of Americans in the hands
of those who are being paid minimum wage.
A good friend of
mine, a Marine, was recently sent away from his family to
fight for this country. Now, his wife is left with the responsibility
of telling their 5-year-old daughter why "they"
took her daddy away.
Well, as I close
I want to say that this will be the last time I speak on this
issue because every time I do, I become more and more disgusted
and irritated with this country, and that's not good because
I have enough of my own personal drama.
