Staff Reports

A group of eight working journalists will gather at Cal State Long Beach Monday for a panel discussing the media's recent coverage of terrorism.

Titled "A Media Report Card on Terrorism Coverage Since Sept. 11: The journalists' perspective," the panel is open to anyone interested and will be held at the Alamitos Bay Room in the University Student Union from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Among the panelists scheduled are Rich Archbold, executive editor of the Long Beach Press-Telegram, Bob Baker, deputy metro editor for the Los Angeles Times and Andy Pasztor, a Los Angeles correspondent for the Wall Street Journal.

The panel is sponsored by the CSULB journalism department, the College of Liberal Arts and the campus chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
