University Police
has a list of reports that informs the community of suspicious
activity around the Cal State Long Beach area. The list can
be viewed on the Internet at activitylog.upd.csulb.edu.
Suspect apprehended
Twenty-year-old
Jessica Coleman, whom the city of Long Beach had issued a
$26,000 warrant for her arrest for driving with a suspended
license, was apprehended on Atherton Street, just off campus,
by University Police Saturday.
Automobiles
targeted at CSULB parking lots
A
1971 Datsun 510 coupe, valued at $1,500, was reported stolen
Wednesday, Oct. 24, from Lot 13.
A 1989 Chevrolet Caprice sedan, valued at $5,700,
was reported stolen Wednesday, Oct. 24, from Level 5 of the
Parking Structure.
A golf cart, which belonged to the Physical Education
Building, was reported stolen Sunday, but was later found
on the grass near the North Campus Center that same day.
An automobile parked in Lot 20 was broken into
and the car stereo, valued at $430, was reported taken Thursday,
Oct. 25.
A 1994 red Acura Integra was towed from the Parking
Structure Tuesday and was impounded for having expired registration.
A pair of bikes taken from campus bike racks
A $329 blue GT bike was reported stolen Friday
from the bike rack outside of the Design Building.
A Specialized Stump-Jumper, valued at $500, was
reported stolen Thursday, Oct. 25, from the bike racks near
the University Library.
Verbal dispute ends in arrest
University Police responded to a call made concerning
a verbal dispute among several subjects at the University
Student Union Wednesday. Most of the subjects had already
left the area, but one suspect was spotted and, after a foot
pursuit, the suspect was arrested for disturbing the peace
and for fleeing.
Vandalism hits
campus window
An
unknown suspect broke a window at the Child Development Center
Friday. The cost of repair to the shattered window is currently
unknown.
