Post-final plans a plenty

By William Marshall
On-line Forty-Niner

So now that the semester is over and finals are looming in the all too near future, it's time to start thinking about what to do as soon as your exams are done. While jumping up and down and screaming for joy may sound a little out of the ordinary for some, students will definitely be celebrating all over campus.

"As soon as my last exam ends, I'm heading straight to the strip club to celebrate with some friends," said philosophy junior Jared Creeson.

Other Cal State Long Beach students like senior Miles Shinohara are taking a more peaceful approach to celebrating the conclusion of the semester.

"I'm going to catch up on a lot of much needed sleep," Shinohara said.

Still, others prefer going out in style.

"I'm going to get drunk and burn all my textbooks that I can't sell back to the bookstore," said finance junior Ryan Johnson.

Undeclared freshman Jason Ellis agreed that alcohol consumption is the best way to unwind after finals.

"I can't wait for exams to be done with, I'm going on a drinking binge," Ellis said.

It seems that the majority of students can't wait for exams to be finished and let the winter break begin, so hang in there, just a few more days of those dreaded exams and it'll all be over.
