Keri Nishimoto

Birthdate: Jan. 2, 1980
Hometown: Redlands
Previous school: Redlands High School
Position: setter
Height: 5-foot-7
Class: junior
Major: computer science

1999: Appeared in 99 games and started in 28 of 35 matches ... averaged 14.58 assists (3rd in nation, 1st in Big West) and 2.45 digs per game ... set a school record by recording 95 assists in a match against UC Santa Barbara ...  1st team Academic All-District VIII ... 2nd team All-Big West Conference ... Big West Fall All-Academic team.

2000: Nishimoto is averaging 13.4 assists and 1.8 digs per game since returning as the starting setter. Accumulated 71 assists Friday against Cal State Fullerton, the most of any 49er setter this season. She was also named Thursday to the first team of the 2000 Verizon Academic All-District VIII women's volleyball team for the second year in a row. Carries a cumulative GPA of 3.96. Named Big West Conference co-player of the week Monday.
