Athlete of the week

Jennifer Reott

Birthdate: Aug. 7, 1979
Hometown: Fullerton
Previous school: Fresno State
Position: midfielder
Class: senior

1999: Second team All-Big West Conference.
Led team with nine points on the year.

2000: Has nine points through 13 matches played this season.

LBSU career: 10 goals and 23 points in 51 matches
Reott notched her 10th career marker against Pacific Saturday, thereby surpassing Kelli Barrett (1998-99, nine goals) as the 49ers' all-time leader in goals scored.

Coach's Comments:

"Jennifer's a positive leader and a great role model. She's got incredible bursts of speed and she balances her roles very well. You can always count on her to have a good game, and it makes sense that she's the leader [career goals] right now. I think the program owes a lot to her, because the job's been difficult."

-- Julie Cochran, LBSU head coach
