Castro
parties with Elian
Guess what
I just read?
Fidel Castro
was on hand to celebrate Elian Gonzalez's birthday.
That's right, the mean evil dictator took time out
of his busy day to visit the seven-year old and his
friends in school.
And we
selfish Americans said the boy would have a better
life in our country. What do you losers say now? Can
you see President Clinton doing that, or Florida Governor
Jeb Bush stopping by to play a few rounds of musical
chairs?
That is
just not likely. Now we all see that Elian does belong
in Cuba with his father. This is one of the times
saying, "I told you so" feels so good. I
mean after all, this seven-year old has basically
become a national hero in Cuba.
He will
have countless opportunities as he grows up. Can we
honestly say that he would enjoy that same status
here? More than likely he would just fade into obscurity,
being nothing more than flash form the past, a headline
frozen in time.
