A
phone poll of California's likely voters concluded
that Tuesday night's presidential debate was at a
virtual tie between Vice President Al Gore and Texas
Gov. George W. Bush.
Forty-two
percent of those asked said Gore won, as opposed to
Bush's 39 percent, said Jennifer Hillings Epstein,
a spokeswoman for Rasmussen Research, an independent
polling firm out of North Carolina.
Cal
State Long Beach students had this to say about the
debates.
"Who
do you think won Tuesday night's presidential debate?"
 |
"I
would say Al Gore because he talks about
education a lot, and health care and the
middle class. Not just about rich people."
