CRIME LOG

• Commercial burglary
Between Oct. 21 and Oct. 25, six cases of beer were stolen from a freezer that was forced open at The Pyramid concession stand.

• Grand theft auto
On Oct. 23, between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. a 1984 pickup truck was stolen from Lot 14. The truck was found in Compton on Oct. 24 at about 1:15 p.m. It was not stripped, burned or damaged in any way.

• Petty theft
Between Oct. 19 and Oct. 23, a Daily Forty-Niner newspaper rack was stolen from campus, valued at $170.

• Commercial burglary
Between Oct. 2 and Oct. 17, personal checks were stolen from the second floor of AS 2 and later cashed off campus to the value of $6,300. In a possibly related incident, between Oct. 3 and Oct. 4, personal checks were stolen from the second floor of KPE and forged to the value of $3,300.

• Petty theft
On Oct. 23, between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., a wallet and its contents, valued at $125, were stolen from a Parkside dorm.

• Commercial Burglary
Two blank checks were stolen from AS 2, between 5:30 p.m., Oct. 12 and noon, Oct.14.

• Petty Theft
$60 was stolen from and unattended backpack in the theatre arts department, between 9:15 a.m. and 10:20, Oct. 12.

• Car burglary
Car stereo and cash, valued at about $370, were stolen from a 1996 Ford Mustang on fifth floor of the parking structure between noon and 3 p.m. Oct. 11.

• Dorm Burglary
A cell phone and two pagers, valued at about $170, were stolen Residence Commons, D Building, between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. Oct. 11.

• Dorm Burglary
A credit card and $10 were stolen from Parkside Commons, N Building, between 9 and 10 p.m. Oct. 11.
