Attempted
abduction at CSULB

Two male
suspects attempted to pull a woman into their car
Wednesday while waiting to cross the street by Lot
4 in Upper Campus at the West Turn, according to University
Police.
Around
11:30 a.m., a black 1996 to 2000 Honda Civic two-door
coupe stopped north of the crosswalk and the passenger
of the vehicle asked the victim if she wanted a ride,
according to campus police. The passenger got out
of the car and grabbed the victim by the arm but she
was able to break free and ran to notify the police.
According
to campus police, the victim is an employee of an
on-campus business.
The vehicle
had tinted rear side and back windows and the license
plate is unknown, and the suspects were last seen
southbound on West Campus Drive towards Seventh Street,
according to campus police.

sketches of the suspects have been made available.
- Suspect
#1 (Passenger) -- Black Male, 18 to 25 years old,
5-10, moderately muscular build. Unknown eye color,
shoulder length dark hair styled in multiple braids
-- white beads attached to ends, thin mustache and
goatee, with very thin beard extending to hairline,
wearing white T-shirt, two or three gold chains
with one large pendant and dark pants.
- Suspect
#2 (Driver) -- Brown Male, early 20's. Unknown eye
color, shaved head, small Fu Manchu-type mustache,
small goatee, wearing a white T-shirt.
