'South Park' boys grow up (sorta)

By Lyndsey Shinoda
Daily Forty-Niner

Say goodbye to Mr. Garrison and Mr. Hat, because the South Park kids are entering the fourth grade.

The four boys that have become American icons will enter the fourth grade this season, with no shortage of misadventures. Eric Cartman, Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, and Kenny McCormick have matured from the third grade, leaving behind their previous teacher for a new subject to torture.

Miss Choksondik, their new teacher, is even better than Mr. Garrison, with her torpedo-like breasts hanging to her waist and shaking with every word. In the season premiere episode, the students are greeted with their new teacher and a foreign language called cursive. They attempt to travel back in time through Timmy's wheelchair to the comfort zone of the third grade.

Partygoers got a sneak preview of the premiere episode on Oct. 26 at the Conga Room, a club in Hollywood.

Co-creators and executive producers Trey Parker and Matt Stone were present to introduce the new episode to an audience, which included actors Bob Saget and Ron Lester.

This episode marks the first of seven new episodes, including a Thanksgiving special and a Christmas special featuring the lovable Mr. Hankey. Chef, Tweek, Timmy, Pip and the neurotic parents of the boys are returning characters this season.

Other shows will include Cartman holding the key to saving humanity and Pip taking the class to London.
The season premiere of South Park airs this Wednesday at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central.
