Pearl

Pearl Jam
fans have two more chances to catch the band in action
this weekend before its current North American tour
moves out of state.
The veteran
outfit began a swing of four shows in the Southern
California area Tuesday at the Greek Theatre. Eddie
Vedder and the boys hit the Selland Arena in Fresno
Friday, and finally, the Glen Helen Blockbuster Pavilion
on Saturday.
Rising
from the ashes of Mother Love Bone in Seattle almost
a decade ago, Pearl Jam exploded onto the rock scene
with its multi-million seller "Ten" in 1991.
10 years and five studio albums later, the band remains
at the forefront of American acts that sprung into
prominence in the early 90s.
Although
Pearl Jam's recent releases have not matched the mainstream
success of "Ten," "Vs." and "Vitalogy,"
the band's sound has matured with age and the material
on "No Code," "Yield" and "Binaural"
arguably contain some of the outfit's strongest material
to date.
PJ is touring
in support of "Binaural."
