Musical ride offered

Radio station, KLON
(88.1 FM), will sponsor its annual Blues Caravan to Long Beach music clubs
on today from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Shuttles will start
at each of the participating clubs and run every 20 minutes, according
to a spokesman at the KLON radio station ticket office.
Participants may
stay as long as they like at each of the clubs but should keep in mind
that the last shuttle leaves at 1 a.m. on Friday morning.

The caravan precludes
the 20th annual Long Beach Blues Festival, which will take place Labor
Day weekend, Sept. 4-6, at Cal State Long Beach campus.
Tickets bought in
advance are $12 ($10 for KLON members) and $15 at the door of participating
clubs.
They can also be
purchased through the KLON ticket office and at Ticketmaster locations
at Tower Records, Robinsons-May and Ritmo Latino.
