Popular actor Adam Sandler delivers big laughs and cute moments in his new film, “Big Daddy.”

Sandler, who  starred in box office hits such as “The Waterboy,” “Happy Gilmore” and “The Wedding Singer” seems very comfortable playing his role in “Big Daddy.”  Sandler plays 32-year-old Sonny Koufax, a law school graduate that has yet to pass the bar exam and get a job.

Avoiding the pressures of adult responsibilities, Koufax decides against the career and marriage fast track and, instead, spends his days watching hockey and eating take-out meals with the delivery guy played by Rob Schneider.

In a misguided attempt to impress his girlfriend played by Kristy Swanson, who tires of his irresponsibility, Koufax adopts a 5-year-old boy played by Cole and Dylan Sprouse, under the false pretense the he is his biological father.

In an attempt to keep the boy he has grown to love, Koufax uses his law school experience   attempting to  adopt the boy and accept some real-life responsibilities.

Although the film deals with a serious issue like orphanage, Sandler makes light of it by adding tons of humor to a well-written script, leaving audiences laughing at times and crying at others.
