Hundreds of reggae fans attended the second annual "Old School Reggae Summer Jam" held last weekend in Long Beach in front of the Queen Mary.

Hundreds of reggae fans flocked to the second annual “Old School Reggae Summer Jam” last weekend.

The concert, held at the Queen Mary Park in Long Beach, featured several top reggae performers such as popular musicians  Charlie Chaplin and Jonny Osbourne.

With the outside temperature in the high 70s, the concert attracted a huge crowd of fans.  The festival featured a variety of different foods including authentic Jamaican meals.  Promoters set up several different booths which sold items such as t-shirts, rugs, and even water pipes.

The obvious crowd favorite was Osbourne who had a huge following of fans present, many of which started chanting the singer’s name after his performance hoping for an encore.  Osbourne was quick to oblige, singing an additional two songs for the appreciative crowd.
