At the initiation, a former society member and CSULB A.S. President Henry Funderburk encouraged students to find something that they really like and get involved in it.
"Make your connections, so that when you get out of the campus, you know some people when you go looking for that job," Funderburk said.
All members of the more than 200 society chapters on college campuses across the nation must have a 3.0 GPA.
. Last semester, CSULB's society received a national award for most improved chapter.
