Associated Students Inc. elections will be held March 20-22. The elections will determine who will be the new A.S. president, vice president, and treasurer.
Six polling places will be scattered around campus. Students can place their votes at west campus near the business building and at the main library from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Students can also place their ballots at the University Student Union's south patio, the West Campus Turnaround, in front at the University Bookstore, and on lower campus near The Outpost from 8 a.m. through 6 p.m.
For the candidates that tie, run-offs will be held April 4 and 5. Students will have the chance to listen to the candidates speeches before the election. The speeches of candidates for president, vice president, and the treasurer position can be heard Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. in the quad area in front of the Bookstore.
Candidates for the presidency are Catherine Grimes, Michael Gallagher, Carl Kemp, and Steven Negley. Running for the vice president position are Michael Barrett, Fatima Castaneda, and Michael Coombs. Hoping to fill the treasurer position are Alvaro Castillo, Edward De la Torre, Stan Park, Michelle Shaw, and Jen Smith.
