It's back.
The university’s yearly series of lectures,
performances, films and fieldtrips, The Odyssey Project, has kicked off
the school year with its theme: The Community.
"The Odyssey provides a forum to discuss
important ideas of our times," said Sharon Olson, director of University
Academic Projects.
The Odyssey project has been around since
1996, and each year it presents a new theme.
"One of the reasons the project exists
is to try to bring people together in the Long Beach Community," Olson
said.
