NASA wasting space

NASA officials gave up hope for their Mars lander that was supposed to transmit pictures of the red planet back to Earth.

This is yet another failure in the Mars exploration project. These rocket scientists cannot seem to keep the ball rolling with these fancy gadgets that are looking for life on another planet.

Space may be the final frontier, but there are many other problems on our planet that need to be solved before we try to invade another world.

We have far too many homeless people here. Do we really need to spend billions and billions of dollars to explore space and other planets?

Wouldn't money used for space exploration be better spent providing quality low-cost health care or building homes for those living on the streets?

So many things need our attention here. There are diseases we need to cure. There are students who need a good education. There are way too many people we need to feed.

Instead of searching the stars, these rocket-science geniuses could be putting their talents to work to solve these problems.

That is not to put down their work, but how many failures does it take to realize that space exploration is a waste of time, money and resources? Especially when those resources might actually help someone who really needs it.

True, it would be an amazing accomplishment to explore Mars. But there is no reason we should spend so much money to look at a planet when that money could potentially save this one.
