POLICE LOG

The University Police has a list of reports that informs citizens of suspicious activity around Cal State Long Beach.

Dec. 2

  • A female student and her roommate reported that they had been receiving harassing phone calls in their dorm room at 11:45 a.m.

  •  
  • A female student at Peterson Hall was voluntarily taken to the Students Health Services for psychological services. The incident occurred at about 11:45 a.m.

  •  
  • A student's vehicle was towed away because the driver did not have a license. The incident occurred at West University Drive.

  •  
  • A student was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol after police responded to Los Alamitos Hall regarding a group disturbance.

  • After police left the incident, they found their patrol car's windshield had been smashed and a driver's side door had been dented.


Dec. 3

  • A student's bicycle was stolen outside the University Library between 3:45 and 4:50 p.m. No loss estimate.

  •  
  • A bicycle parked outside Fine Arts Building 3 was stolen between 5 and 7:40 p.m. No loss estimate.


Dec. 5

  • The Long Beach Fire Department assisted a female who was going into labor at the University Student Union. She was transported off campus.


Dec. 6

  • University Police arrested a man for trespassing on campus following a warning the previous week. Michael Miller, 53, was arrested near the University Music Center after police saw him around 10:50 a.m. Miller, who is not a student, was cited and released.

  •  
  • A man was arrested after a traffic stop in Lot 14 at 9 a.m. After police realized James Ahn, 19, had an outstanding misdemeanor traffic warrant he was issued a citation and released by University Police.
