	49ers awarded By Andres Cardenas Daily Forty-Niner A whole slew of awards was bestowed on the 49ers last week. Four first team All-Big West Conference members were selected from LBSU, the highest number of first-teamers in the conference. Returning first team selections Anja Grabovac and Veronica Walls were named to the first team, as were sophomores Tayyiba Haneef and Cheryl Weaver. Second team honors were given to senior outside hitter Brandy Barratt, and freshman setter Brittany Hochevar was nominated to the all-freshman team. In addition to all-league selections, Grabovac and Nishimoto were placed on the GTE Academic All-District first team. "No other school in our district had two players in the first team," Gimmillaro said.
