  • Long Beach State women's volleyball Head Coach Brian Gimmillaro anxiously watched a local sports bar's television Sunday night as, one by one, the women's volleyball NCAA tournament match-ups were announced.
     
  • CSU budget to pass $244 million due to enrollment

  • The California State University's budget for next year is expected to surpass the $244 million mark to accommodate the onslaught of incoming freshmen, said CSU Chancellor Charles Reed in a teleconference with student reporters Monday afternoon.
