In a final tune up before the exhibition season starts the men's and women's basketball teams held an open door inter-squad basketball game Sunday afternoon at The Pyramid.

The men's team started the festivities with a win by the gold squad over the black squad, 67-48. James Williams scored a total of 22 points while playing for both teams and with 20 points going to the gold squad.

Men's basketball Head Coach Wayne Morgan said that he saw a good performance by his team.

"I thought they worked hard," Morgan said. "I think they did some good things offensively."

The black squad won the women's game, 62-26. Rhonda Smith led both teams with 17 points.

Women's Head Basketball Coach Dallas Boychuk-Bolla said that her team has been very defensive minded in practice leading up to the game.
