Taking a stand against male rights

In Response to Ken Hanson's "Standing up for male gender rights," I'm sorry for oppressing you.

After reading Hanson's article, I felt truly guilty of tying men down with wanting and deserving to be treated with respect. How could I, a woman, oppress men so harshly when all they want to do is speak their minds?

Who cares if a comment offends a woman and who cares if at work a man boldly expresses himself by saying, "What nice breasts you have?" After all he should have the right to say anything he wants.

You are damn right that times have changed. Women no longer have to cook, clean, have children, and serve the man, that in the end is not only a "spineless toad" but a chauvinistic pig.

I think it's only fair that you must be sensitive because your penis oppresses us. In a time where women still earn less than men and women received the right to vote less than 100 years ago, I'm sorry to say the oppressed gender is not those of you that walk around with something dangling between your legs.

It's those of us who fight to have equal rights in every sense of the word. Just like men "enjoy" the naked female form there are those of us who enjoy the male form. Thankfully we are more respectful of it and the person behind it.
