UC Irvine won the men's team event with a team score of 89. LBSU men's team finished in eighth with 187 points.

"I feel real good about (the men's team)," 49er Head Coach Andy Sythe said. He said his runners should be over other their illnesses and there are no longer any real injuries on the men's side.

The women's team participated without four of their top five runners, citing reasons of family emergencies or rest for being excused from the meet.

Monica McManus lead the 49ers with a time of 18 minutes and 39 seconds and finished in twelfth place.
