CRIME LOG

The University Police offers a list of reports that is accessible for public viewing summarizing criminal or suspicious activity within the Cal State Long Beach community. 

The following is a recent list of these incidents.  

SEPT. 28

  • A man reported his 1986 Chevrolet El Camino stolen from Lot 14 between the days of Sept. 26 and 28.  


SEPT. 29

  • A traffic collision at the intersection of Palo Verde Avenue and Atherton Street resulted in injuries. 

  •  A white truck driven by a man struck a red Porsche driven by a woman shortly before 9 a.m.
     Long Beach Fire Department took the victims to the hospital.
     
  • A 1989 Honda Civic and a 1986 Toyota Cressida were burglarized. 

  • A stereo, amplifier and compact disc player were stolen from the Honda. The total estimated value of the items was $1,400. 

    Two textbooks were taken from the Toyota. The total estimated value of the books was $55. Both vehicles were parked on the third level of the Parking Structure.
     

  • A man reported his 1971 Chevrolet Nova stolen from the Parking Structure. The estimated value of the car was $1,000.

  •  
  • A man dislocated his shoulder while playing basketball on campus. 
  •  He was taken to Long Beach Community Medical Center.


SEPT. 30

  • University Police found two dogs within a vehicle with its windows rolled up in Lot 8. The dogs were panting due to the heat. Officers advised the vehicleís owner.

  •  
  • A 1999 Honda Civic was stolen from the third level of the Parking Structure between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

  •  
  • A wedding ring was reported stolen from an unlocked locker in the Physical Education Building.


OCT. 3

  • A laptop computer was stolen from an office in the College of Business Administration.
