Evolution is a widely confirmed and highly useful general hypothesis about how organism change across time. Surprisingly many people do not have even the most basic knowledge of evolution. This lab familiarizes students with the basics of evolution as well as how and what it explains. Below is a link to a general article on evolution as well as an article which discusses the advantages of evolution over creationism in explaining the seeming fit between organisms and their environments. In addition I have included a link to a page discussing common questions about evolution. You should read these articles and answer the questions in the quiz on Beachboard.
