Downloading Rasmol for the Mac

Click on RasMol and save the file RasMac_PPC.bin to your computer.  Then double-click on RasMac_PPC.bin to expand it to the file RasMac_PPC.  The icon for this file should look like three spherical atoms in a triangle joined by chemical bonds.

Next click on rasmol help file and save the file rasmol.hlp to your computer.  Place both files into a new folder called RasMol.

Double-click on the RasMac_PPC icon.  If you have System 9 installed on your computer to run Classic applications, RasMol should launch.

If you don't have System 9 installed on your computer, use the last of your system installation CD's to do the installation.
