This 79 year old black female was admitted for treatment
of fracture of left lateral malleolus. Admission laboratory values were
as follows:

Flow cytometric immunopphenotypic studies:
CD2: 97%
CD4: 94%
CD3: 97%
CD8: 2%
CD5: 96%
CD4+/CD8+: 0
CD7: 4%
CD25: 88%
Molecular Diagnostics: T-cell receptor beta-chain gene
rearrangement.
Serology: HTLV-1 positive.
