Call for Papers

Journal of Management Information Systems
Special Section on

"Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery"

The special section focuses on the management and business applications of data mining, inductive learning, knowledge acquisition, knowledge discovery, and inductive decision making. Topics include all aspects of data mining and knowledge discovery including i) the methodological issues in applying the tools, ii) the performance improvement through the integration of tools and techniques, iii) the exogenous factors to consider in modeling, iv) the interdisciplinary perspectives, and v) the economic foundations. The papers should describe how the techniques, tools, and models apply to a broad range of applications.
