BLISS Study

ABOUT BLISS:

The Black Lesbians' Ideas about Sex and Sexuality (BLISS) Study is designed to examine sexual beliefs and norms and aimed at informing the development of culturally grounded sexual health promotion programs for African American lesbians. BLISS is a multiple method research project, incorporating qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

 

PARTICIPATION CRITERIA:

  • Identify as an African-American Lesbian Woman
  • Be 18 or older
  • Live in Los Angeles County

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE ASKED TO DO:

If you are eligible, you will be asked to participate in a confidential 90-minute interview and complete a brief questionnaire about how you think and feel about sex and sexuality.

 

COMPENSATION:

Participants in the BLISS project will receive $40 in the form of two gift cards of your choice.
