Sexuality & Culture is a forum for the discussion
and analysis of ethical, cultural, psychological, social, and political
issues related to sexual relationships and sexual behavior.
These issues include--but are not limited to: sexual consent
and sexual responsibility; sexual harassment and freedom of
speech and association; sexual privacy; censorship and pornography;
impact of film/literature on sexual relationships; and university
and governmental regulation of intimate relationships, such as
interracial relationships and student-professor relationships.

Unsolicited submissions are welcome throughout the year. All manuscripts will be
reviewed by two or more members of the editorial board or
qualified ad hoc reviewers. Articles will be accepted in three categories:
- Theoretical Articles are articles based on logical argumentation
and literature review.
- Empirical Articles are articles that describe the results of
experiments or surveys on the ethical, cultural, psychological, social, or political
implications of sexual behavior.
- Book Reviews are critical reviews of published books or
videotapes whose contents are pertinent to the journal's mission.
Manuscripts should conform generally to the APA style (Publication
Manual of the American Psychological Association, Washington, DC, 2009).
Briefly, manuscripts should be double spaced and should include a summary
of approximately 200 words. Empirical articles should include standard
sections (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion). Citations should
be in the author-year format (e.g.: Smith, 2012). All cited sources must
be listed in alphabetical order at the end of the manuscript (including
authors, article title, full journal name, year, volume, and pages).
Submission of a manuscript implies that the same manuscript is not
currently under consideration by another journal. After the manuscript
is accepted for publication, authors will be requested to provide an
electronic copy of the final manuscript either as a disk file or as an
e-mail transmission. Copyright will be transferred to the publisher.
Submissions are to be made electronically at http://secu.edmgr.com.
Sexuality & Culture (ISSN 1095-5143) is published by
