Exercising of the Youths

The young men are trained to run races, and a prize is given to the one who shows the greatest endurance in the contest. They also practice a great deal with bow and arrow.

They play a game in which they cast a ball at a square target placed on the top of a high tree, and they take great pleasure in hunting and fishing.
